processing and trading of metals and minerals, energy products

trading of commodities on a global basis, purchasing physical

and delivering these commodities to industrial consumers
such as car manufacturers, steel mills, public utilities

Project Background

Unit
Management System (UMS) is mainly a module/system to replace
ADS-Dealing System module, but also to provide much more
than what exists in ADS-DS. One of the primary purposes
of UMS is to help manage the units in the various positions.
There are other various user requirements, which would be
added to this UMS subsequently. The UMS system is to meet
the dynamic business needs and so would include what-if,
scenario analysis, queries and reports. The UMS would not
only help in managing units and allocation but also in evaluation
and the management of the forward positions.
