Project Background
 

In order to cater to the needs of large customer base of 65 million, the client had multiple Information systems. Maintenance and enhancement of these systems for the expanding customer base became cumbersome and expensive. There was a requirement for an integrated and comprehensive system that would address all the business needs and ARTEMIS became the IT solution for all these problems.


Scope of the project
 

ARTEMIS – is an integrated universal system in place, several standalone systems supporting many insurance products. In addition ARTEMIS was created to facilitate any new products, which may be introduced in future. In addition, conversion of 65 million non-relational customers database to relational database. Artemis had following features:

  • Graphical user interface for ease of use
  • Business rule implemented relational database for data integrity
  • Data Warehouse for reporting purpose
  • EDI for data formatting and transfer
  • Smooth interface with external systems like Commission and Lawson

TCGIvega role in ARTEMIS project:

  • Design and development of the relational database along with the clients development team
  • Design and development of key modules like Billing, Fulfillment, Communication, Enrollment
  • Developing a process to convert and convert 65 million non relational customer database to relational database
  • Extensive data analysis using in house tools for formulating effective business rules
